Board Member

Micaela J. A. Le Blanc, a native of Jennings, Louisiana; currently resides in Los Angeles, California.

Educationally she holds

·       A dual degree from Southern University located in Baton Rouge, LA in the fields of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science

·       A Masters Degree in Electrical Communications Engineering from Tuskegee University in Alabama

·       A Masters Degree in Electrical Power Systems from the University of Southern California, in Los Angeles

·       And an MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA

Professionally she is a registered professional electrical engineer with the State of California and retire, after 35 years, as the Director of Technology Development for the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) where she managed and oversaw the construction of over $500 million in airport technology projects related to the safety and security of airport facilities.

She is a member of the Inglewood Pacific Chapter of The Links, Incorporated; Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated; the Southern University Alumni Federation; and a certified member of the American Association of Airport Executives. In 2023, she was invested as a Dame in the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem in the Western Lieutenancy.

During her 40 years as a Junior and Senior member of the Knights of Peter Claver, Incorporated, she has served as a leader in KPC, Inc.’s Junior Daughter Division as well as holding various offices after transferring to the KPC Senior Division; including six years as the Western States District Deputy for the Ladies Auxiliary, before being elected in 2018 as the 14th Supreme Lady of the Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary.

Esteemed Past Supreme LeBlanc’s primary focus during her tenure as Supreme Lady was to make the Knights of Peter Claver, Incorporated, the volunteer organization of choice for every practicing Catholic. As the Immediate Past Supreme Lady and member of the National Court Board of Directors for the Ladies Auxiliary Division, she is serving her first term as a Director on the Saint Peter Claver Foundation.
