Ricky Sassau is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana and holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology and a Master of Science in Engineering Management, both from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. During his collegiate years, he had a unique opportunity to intern at the National Wetlands Research Center, where he studied Visual Basic Programming and the preservation of wetlands and marshes using hydroponics. These experiences coupled with his educational background landed him an opportunity at Accenture as a Senior Automation Analyst, where he implements and supports SCADA software for the Chevron MCBU. Mr. Sassau is extremely passionate and devoted to the development of youth through mentorship. He is a 2002 initiate of the Theta Nu chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc and serves as the National Treasurer of the Knights of Peter Claver, Inc. In addition to his engineering background, he possesses skills in conducting cost benefit analysis, coordinating strategic partnerships, and conducting feasibility studies.
