Shaunté M. Collins is a native of Austin, Texas and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Certificate in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Duke University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Marys University School of Law. She is currently employed at Zinda Law Group, PLLC as an Associate Attorney where she proudly upholds her reputation as a dedicated and compassionate advocate for her clients who encounter devastating and life-altering experiences. Ms. Collins also devotes her time promoting equal access to both higher education and legal services by providing pro bono legal work within the Austin community and volunteering as an Admissions Interviewer for her alma maters. Ms. Collins is a dedicated member of the Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary Court #284, Meritorious Fourth Degree Ladies of Grace Chapter 40, and Holy Cross Catholic Church.  Professionally, she belongs to the Austin Black Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, Capital Area Trial Lawyers, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and Texas Young Lawyers Association. In her community, Ms. Collins volunteers and supports the Sickle Cell Association of Austin, Capital Area Food Bank, and the Court Appointed Special Advocates.
