Cynthia Larkin, a native Houstonian was born and reared in Fifth Ward Houston, Texas. Cynthia attended the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Phoenix where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Biology/Medical Technology and Bachelor of Science in Business Management, respectively. Professionally, her expertise is in payroll and finance. Ms. Larkin has an extensive career background that began at the Texas Medical Center, and later landed a managerial role at the Katy Independent School District in the payroll department for 27 years. In 2011, she entered retirement, and soon after devoted her time and skills to learn local, state, and national campaign finance laws for her volunteerism as treasurer with several political campaigns and non-profits. Ms. Larkin is a devoted and passionate leader in several organizations including: Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary, Saint Benedict de Moor Court 72 where she serves as Grand Lady, Jack and Jill of America- Lifetime member, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
